The Tbilisi Open Air is a music festival held every year in early summer.
An outdoor event, the area is located just outside Tbilisi, near Lake Lisi.
The all area is equipped with food stands, bar, entertainment spaces, craft items shops and all around hay bales where just crash when you are tired.
There is also possibility to camp and public transportation works very well.
I was working those days and I brought my family with me,included a 7 months little kid.
I had no problem, absolutely friendly environment
Founded in 2009 and constantly evolving from year to year, bringing international and non-international artists. Considered the most important in the Caucasus region.
This year, in the three-day line-up, Franz Ferdinand, Mogwai, The Subways took turns on the main stage and dozens of artists on the other stages.
Remarkable the Georgian band Mokumoku, a mix of hiphop, funk mixed with psychedelic sounds that on the stage brings a show of all respect.
Every year I look forward to them because in my past there are also traces of funk and hip hop productions and listening to people who make good music is difficult in these times.
The all area is equipped with food stands, bar, entertainment spaces, craft items shops and all around hay bales where just crash when you are tired.
This year was a special year because of the clashes that took place in the capital between the police and protesters the day before the opening, so much so that the festival was held under the insignia of the slogan "ara dzaladoba", no violence.
It was a great feeling standing there, together.
Music has no borders, race or gender.
